Dear Pastor Gayman,
It is unfortunate that this incident concerning the separation of Pastor Scott Stinson from the Church of Israel has gotten so far out of hand, and that both parties' reputations have been injured regrettably. A simple solution to this present crisis, and the removal of this website entirely, is for both parties to agree to back off altogether. It is an easy matter to just "drop everything" officially, and quit this whole mess. For that to happen both sides must agree at least to "cease and desist," and stick to it.
When I was in your office on Wednesday night, November 15, 2000, you told me personally what a good job of negotiating I had done. You said you were happy with the original agreement. I have those words on the tape which you made and copied for me. If you believed then that I had negotiated well, then are you now willing to cease and desist the "felony theft" charge you made against me by phone on Thursday, December 14, 2000, to the Joplin Globe reporter? Are you willing to back off the "criminal extortion" charge you made against Brother Scott in the meeting of the men on Wednesday, November 29, 2000, and in the letter to Scott from your attorney, dated November 27, 2000?
If you are willing to cease and desist from those slanderous charges you made personally against both Scott and myself, then I am willing to remove this website entirely. Here is how it can work.
Please print out, sign and fax the following letter to me, and I will immediately remove everything from this website.
Thank you for your careful consideration of this important request. I hope and pray to hear from you immediately by fax to 903-845-5778 so this matter can be ended once and for all.
Yours truly,

Jerry Gentry
